  • HEPA Air Filtration System
  • Ambient Sound Masking (Pink Noise) System

Clean, Secure & Feature-Rich

Featuring Smartglass, noise-cancelling technology and more, this booth will make your users feel safe and comfortable while video conferencing or executing self-service procedures.

With full workstation functionality including scanning, printing, secure document transfer, video conferencing, NAVPAD control and more, The Aegis Booth includes white noise speakers, sound dampening enclosure, slam-proof sliding door, air fan/filter and disinfecting UV lights with a motion sensor.

The durable Aegis Desk allows ample room for paperwork and comfort for longer self-service interactivity.

Smart Glass for Booth Privacy

The Aegis Booth incorporates side panels that leverage optional smart glass technology.

This technology alters the amount of light transmitted through typically transparent materials, allowing these materials to appear as transparent, translucent, or opaque. These panels help resolve the conflicting design and functional demands for balancing the benefits of natural light, views, and open floor plans with the need for energy conservation and privacy.

The panels allow transparent materials such as glass or polycarbonate to switch on demand from clear to shaded to completely opaque.

Assisted Self-service Kiosk

In many cases, users have multiple and/or complex pages of paperwork to print, scan or email. More than simply a workstation, the A.S.K. 3.0 allows the user to instantly chat with your help representative with live video assistance with complicated forms or processes. This desk is also popular with our Zamok Kiosk Office Suite product for locked down and secure print, scan, form completion and email functionality.

Why Do You Need a Desk?

Examine if adding the Aegis Desk is right for your business.

SITTING OR STANDING?
Many self-service interactions are simple, requiring only a few steps and lasting only a few minutes. But what happens when that interaction becomes more complicated; requiring more time, effort and energy from the user? Providing a seat will result in a better experience for the user and more accurate data in the end.
HOW LONG IS TOO LONG?
According to research, most users would prefer to be seated for interactions spanning more than five to ten minutes. After that span, you should expect a decline in the quality and accuracy of the completed paperwork, as the user will begin rushing through to finish their task due to fatigue.
HOW MANY MATERIALS INVOLVED?
Do your services involve paperwork? If so, how much? When a self-service process requires the user to fill out, scan or print multiple pages of paperwork, they should have all the space they need to feel comfortable and get organized. This will lead to a lower percentage of errors, and a higher percentage of satisfied customers and employees.
HOW COMPLICATED IS THE PROCESS?
Are the required tasks simple or complex? If there is any level of complexity involved, you should assume that assistance will be needed at some point to complete the tasks accurately and completely. That’s when you need a support technician at the ready to guide the user through the form, and our ASK 3.0 video conferencing capability is the ideal solution for a seamless support experience. If you have determined that Aegis Desk is not right for you, consider Zamok Kiosk Office Suite.
