Thru-Wall Kiosks Parks & Recreation

Sabino Canyon – Pima County, Arizona

Sabino Canyon, a 12,000-acre natural area in southern Arizona, transitioned to modern self-service ticketing to support its narrated, emission-free “Crawler” shuttles. With extreme heat, unreliable connectivity, and high visitor traffic, the site required rugged outdoor kiosks capable of processing large ticket volumes while operating reliably in harsh desert conditions.

  • Outdoor Transit kiosks (×2) built with 14-gauge stainless steel, full climate control, and 1,100-nit sunlight-readable displays
  • Thru-Wall kiosks (×2) providing secure, unattended operation with indoor maintenance access
  • Cellular-based Zamok remote monitoring for uptime alerts, diagnostics, and support
  • High-volume payment processing with a 97% shift from cash to credit/debit

This deployment has processed over 330,000 ticket transactions and generated more than $3.8 million in on-site revenue, demonstrating exceptional ROI, operational resilience, and scalability for parks and recreation environments.
