The full list behind that claim — three separate coverage sets, not one number. Search or filter below to check a specific language, or see how this fits the bigger picture in the Interactive Guide.
Section 1 · Coverage at a glance
Three language capabilities, one visitor experience
Zamok Genie supports typed and read conversation, natural two-way voice, and full-page screen translation. The totals are different because each capability is backed by a different language set.
97
text languages for typed and read conversation
24
spoken languages for natural two-way voice
39
screen-translation languages for the full page
23
support all three — speak, listen, read, and type
Section 2 · What the numbers mean
The important distinction
Language coverage is capability-specific
The 97-language figure is Zamok Genie's general text/read coverage via the Gemini Live API. The spoken/audio list is more specific — currently 24 regional voice locales. Chrome's on-screen Translator API lists zh-Hant as Chinese (Traditional), while Gemini's general list uses zh for Chinese — the same language can carry a different code depending on which capability you're checking.
