Zamok Kiosk Management

Run your whole kiosk fleet from one dashboard

Zamok is Advanced Kiosks premier kiosk management plaform. Here is where your kiosks live once they hit the floor. Check what's online, pull usage reports, push new settings, and redesign the screen your visitors touch — all from a browser, without driving out to the site.

This is a short visual overview of the fleet-management side of Zamok. Seven menus, in the order you'll meet them.

Before You Log In

Three Things to Have Ready

You'll get the most out of this guide with the dashboard open in another tab.

1

An Active Account

Your kiosks ship tied to a Zamok organization. If you haven't been invited yet, ask your administrator to add you under Managed Accounts.

2

Your Login

Sign in at kioskdashboard.com. Everything in this guide happens in that browser tab — nothing to install.

3

Ten Minutes

Work the seven menus in order and you'll know where to find fleet status, reports, permissions, settings, and the homepage editor.

Menu 01 · Kiosks

Your Fleet, at a Glance

This is the first screen you land on after logging in, and for most people it's the one that stays open. It shows the health of every kiosk you manage in a single list.

kioskdashboard.com / kiosks
Kiosks menu — status, naming, and remote actions for every unit.
  • Online status and general health — see instantly which kiosks are reporting in and which ones need a look.
  • Names and install locations — rename a kiosk or update where it lives so the rest of your team knows what they're looking at.
  • Take a screenshot — see exactly what's on the screen right now, without driving out to the site.
  • Lock for maintenance — pull a kiosk out of service while someone works on it.
  • Restart remotely — reboot the kiosk application or the whole computer.
Screenshot first, restart second

A quick screenshot usually tells you whether a kiosk is genuinely stuck or just sitting on an idle screen.

Menu 02 · Reports

See How Your Kiosks Are Actually Being Used

Every report can be filtered by time range and downloaded as a CSV, so it's easy to pull numbers for a monthly update or a budget request. These are the logs people check most.

kioskdashboard.com / reports
Reports menu — query by time range, review on screen, export to CSV.
  • Session Log — how many sessions ran on each kiosk, and when each one started and ended.
  • Navigation Log — which web pages were visited on the kiosk, and when.
  • Homepage Log — which homepage template buttons were pushed, and at what time.
  • Hardware Logs — VOIP and scanning activity: documents scanned per day, calls placed, which kiosk, and how long each call lasted.
  • Welcome Video Log — when the welcome video (face detection) was triggered. A good read on people who saw the kiosk but decided not to use it.
  • Settings Change Log — which account holder changed a setting, what they changed, and when.
Read two logs together

Compare the Session Log against the Welcome Video Log to see how many people walked up versus how many actually used the kiosk. That gap is usually a placement or signage problem.

From dashboard to daily operations

A dashboard only works if your team knows what to do with it.

Zamok

Zamok™ gives you visibility into kiosk status, reports, roles, settings, contacts, media, and homepage updates. But the real value comes from deciding how your team will use those tools after the kiosks are live.

We can help define the operating model: who gets access, what reports matter, what alerts need attention, which settings should be locked down, and when your team should handle something versus calling Advanced Kiosks support.

Set up the right roles Admins, editors, and viewers matched to real staff responsibilities.
Know which reports matter Usage, sessions, scans, calls, button clicks, and settings changes.
Build a support routine What to check first, when to restart, and when to escalate.

Menu 03 · Managed Accounts

Decide Who Can Touch What

Administrators add new users to the Zamok platform here. You can change names, reassign roles, or delete accounts entirely. Access is scoped by role, so a front-desk staffer can review reports without being able to reconfigure the fleet.

kioskdashboard.com / managed-accounts
Managed Accounts — add users, set names, and scope access by role.
  • Add a new user and assign their role in the same row.
  • Reassign roles as responsibilities shift — no need to delete and re-invite.
  • Remove access the moment someone leaves the organization.
Viewer

Read-only. Can view settings, reports, and interface layouts, but can't change anything.

Editor

Can view and change settings, reports, and interface layouts.

Organization Admin

Everything an Editor can do, plus the ability to create new admins.

Keep a second admin

Two Organization Admins on the account saves a support call when the primary admin is out of office.

Menu 04 · Settings

Where Your Fleet Gets Configured

Almost everything configurable about your kiosks lives here. Each feature gets its own settings card with fields you can adjust to fit how your building actually runs. You can also create and view kiosk overrides from this section, so a single kiosk can behave differently from the rest of the fleet.

kioskdashboard.com / settings
Settings menu — expand any card to reach the fields underneath it.

Some of the cards people change most often:

Session

Set how the session timer looks, how long a kiosk waits before the timer appears, and how long before the session ends.

On-Screen Keyboard

Adjust the keyboard's font size, key size, whether users can move it around the screen, and other typing behavior.

Screen Saver

Configure what shows when the kiosk is idle. Use it to share important messages or pull attention toward the unit.

Web Filter

Define exactly which sites the kiosk is allowed to visit and which are blocked — the core of keeping a public terminal on task.

GreenTimer

Put the fleet on a sleep schedule. Lower power draw overnight, longer hardware life, nobody flipping switches at closing time.

Document Scanning Workflows

Customize the scanning process by asking additional questions and writing your own usage instructions.

Overrides beat one-offs

Change shared settings for the whole fleet first, then use a kiosk override only where a location genuinely needs different behavior. It keeps everything else consistent.

Menu 05 · Account

Your Login, Your Contacts, Your Subscription

The Account menu covers your own credentials plus the people your kiosks route work to.

kioskdashboard.com / account
Account menu — credentials, contacts and groups, and subscription status.
  • Update your credentials — change the email address and password you use to log into the platform.
  • Manage contacts — create, edit, and view the contacts on the account.
  • Route VOIP and scanning — those contacts determine who receives calls from a kiosk and where scanned documents land.
  • Build contact groups — organize contacts by department or shift so routing stays tidy as the list grows.
  • Check your subscription — view your current Zamok subscription status.
Start here when a button goes quiet

Contacts are what make "Call For Assistance" and "Submit Paperwork" useful. If a kiosk action isn't reaching anyone, this is the first place to check.

Menu 06 · Library

One Home for Every Asset

The Library is where you upload, view, and delete the assets used across your Zamok workflows and the homepage editor. Logos, background images, screen-saver clips, and welcome videos all live here, so you're picking from a known-good list instead of hunting for files every time you build a screen.

kioskdashboard.com / library
Library — upload, view, and delete the media your kiosks use.
  • Upload once, reuse everywhere — assets are available to the homepage editor and your workflows.
  • Review what's there before you build, so screens stay on brand.
  • Delete what's stale and keep the list short enough to be useful.
MP4 JPG PNG
Menu 07 · Homepage

Design the First Screen Visitors Touch

The homepage is what greets people when they walk up to your kiosk, and this is where you build it. Point the kiosk at a URL of your choosing, or use the configurable template and lay the screen out yourself.

kioskdashboard.com / homepage
Homepage editor — styling controls on the left, live kiosk preview on the right.
  • A true WYSIWYG editor — template layout, font sizes and styles, colors, icons, slideshows, action buttons, and image backgrounds, all updating as you work.
  • Custom CSS on any widget — drop down a level when a design needs something the controls don't cover.
  • Wire buttons to Zamok actions — attach VOIP calling or document scanning straight to an action button, or point it at a URL instead.
  • Complete revision history — every version is kept, so you never have to worry about losing a previous interface.
Fewer buttons, bigger buttons

People walk up to a kiosk with one task in mind. Keep the homepage to a handful of large, plainly labeled buttons that read from six feet away.
