Project: BMCC uses kiosks to display information and wayfinding
Project Overview:
Borough of Manhattan Community College has been using our kiosks for wayfinding since 2012. BMCC has a total of 39 Freestanding Kiosks. “Kiosks make it easier for people to find whatever info they are looking for, and they’re especially great for freshmen because they tell them exactly where they need to go,” says IT Administrator Ahmed Adeoshun.
Kiosk Project Details:
The kiosks are installed with Lobby Attendant Wayfinding software fully customized to fit the needs of BMCC. BMCC’s kiosks are also locked down on its website so students can look up schedules and classes, access the campus directory, and even reset their passwords. The durable, secure kiosks function like public personal computers. Adeoshun has seen shorter wait times at the college’s help desk since deploying kiosks throughout campus.
