Background

The 5th Special Forces Group partnered with Caraway Electric and Advanced Kiosks to modernize the memorial experience at their parade field and grave sites at Fort Campbell, KY. The goal was to replace an outdated kiosk interface with a more intuitive, maintainable system that allows visitors, families, and service members to access and engage with information about fallen soldiers.

Business Challenge

  • Existing kiosk system was outdated and difficult to maintain
  • Visitors had limited ability to quickly find and view information about specific individuals
  • Memorial records were not presented in a structured or accessible format
  • Data needed to be organized and transformed into a clear, digital experience
  • Requirement for a scalable system that can be updated over time

Solutions Delivered

Advanced Kiosks implemented a custom Tribute Station system designed specifically for memorial engagement. The kiosk provides:

  • Interactive search and lookup for individuals and memorial records
  • Structured presentation of names, images, and biographical information
  • A respectful, modern and easy-to-use interface that replaces the legacy system
  • A centralized platform for organizing and displaying memorial content

The system is designed to be maintainable and scalable, allowing the organization to continuously update records, images, and historical details as needed.

Outcome

The new system creates a more meaningful and accessible experience for visitors, families, and service members. Users can quickly locate and learn about fallen soldiers, gaining a deeper understanding of their service and sacrifice.

For the organization, the kiosk delivers a sustainable, easy-to-manage solution that ensures memorial content remains accurate, up to date, and consistently presented over time.
