Advanced Kiosks^® and ASRC Federal Deliver Secure Touchless Identity Solution kiosks for TSA’s Screening at Speed Initiative.

Concord, NH and Reston, VA – Advanced Kiosks^®, in collaboration with ASRC Federal^®, completed the Touchless Identity Solution (TIS) pilot with deployment of the 45^th TIS airport kiosk across 15 US airports.

The Advanced Kiosks & ASRC Federal collaboration included the design, development and production of a new class of physically and cyber-secure, high-performance airport security identity verification checkpoint system enabling airports to advance security and efficiency while improving the passenger experience.

The TIS design incorporates a reinforced steel frame, high-security locks, and restricted-access service door, along with mounting and adjustment mechanisms that enable the enclosure to adapt to multiple airport layouts and different operator setups. Its small footprint, light weight, and portability allow units to be placed virtually anywhere, offering exceptional flexibility for evolving checkpoint configurations.

Advanced Kiosks® performed the design and manufacturing at its Concord, New Hampshire facility, using 3D-printed components to accelerate prototyping and meet the project’s aggressive schedule. “The timeline was extremely tight,” said Advanced Kiosks^® President, Howard Horn. “We had to innovate quickly — producing and testing parts in-house to ensure TSA received a secure, fully functional solution on time.”

ASRC Federal managed the overall contract, produced the TIS software, managed the airport system deployments, and maintains the operationally fielded units.
