Kiosk Self-Service Knowledgebase

For clarity, this issue is not the same as “there is no internet connect”, or “connected to my network, but cannot access the internet”. It is specifically about the hardware not functioning correctly.
Possible Causes:
  • Wrong network adapter is being used
  • Antenna has been removed
  • Internal antenna extension cable has been loosened, or damaged
  • USB Connection is not plugged into the computer
  • USB Connection to the Wi-Fi adapter has become lose, or unplugged
  • Device is not detected in Device Manager and needs to be reinstalled
  • Drivers need to be reinstalled
Resolution:
  • Reconnect, or replace cables and/or antenna
  • Activate correct Adapter in Network Settings
  • Contact Advanced Kiosks. Please have Kiosk Serial #, or Invoice # ready.
