Kiosk will not connect to the internet or not power on correctly after a reboot

This is an occasional issue with some of the Alfa WiFi adapters built into kiosks from roughly between 6/15-12/15.  If you have a kiosk that was shipped during that time period, and are experiencing

  • issues with the kiosk not connecting to the internet after a reboot
  • Random BSOD displaying, especially after a the WiFi card USB is unplugged
  • Kiosk not turning on and sitting at the POST screen (the black screen that shows when you first turn the kiosk on)
